PIMS Gold:
PIMS Gold Level service provides full consulting support from winter planning to fall data analysis. Full service means full service: PIMS Gold customers have personal access to a consultant for an informed expert opinion around many aspects of your production cycle.

Planning: The pre-production planning cycle starts in the winter. The consultant will seek to understand your current management system, objectives, and cropping process. In the planning stage we will discuss the areas within your system that could benefit from refinement or fine-tuning. Together we will build field plans to test understanding of the potential outcome of chosen variables. This field specific plan will document the chosen cropping variables—hybrids, nitrogen form and rate, herbicides, etc.

Execution: After the plan is in place, the field specific variables information is plugged into data recording software. During spring fieldwork, you implement the plan while geo-referencing the planned inputs to actual field location. Accurate documentation of these activities is critical to the integrity of the overall management system and the ability to provide meaningful analysis. The recorded data is processed and held for future yield-to-variable evaluation

Evaluation: With the location of crop input variables documented, producers can easily visit the area and inspect the crops during the growing season to observe reaction to summer growing stresses. This is very valuable information as these observations can influence the final yield interpretation.

Yield Data Gathering: At harvest time, there is no need to locate those difficult to find marking flags or the exact spot you changed hybrids. Its location is already recorded with GPS and is in the system. When the yield data is received at the TCC processing center, we will process and correlate the yield results to each recorded variable. The results are carefully and critically reviewed, evaluated and then presented in both map and tabulated summary form. After the production cycle is complete and the data is fully processed and analyzed, a consultant will meet with your management team to review the data and discoveries, and respond to questions. Conclusions drawn from this data evaluation and analysis become the foundation for planning the next production cycle.

Leadership: With PIMS Gold, leadership comes simply from information and non-biased recommendations. Producers in the past have had very little data to use in understanding the outcome of management decisions on their farm. Now with winter planning, spring marking, summer observations and fall analysis, any producer desiring to refine management decisions such as hybrid placement, input rates, timing of application, or tillage practices can clearly understand, in bushels per acre, the result of those decisions. This leads to better information for better-informed management decisions leading to increased profits.

PIMS Silver:
PIMS Silver is an advanced processing service designed for producers who desire insights and leadership without season-long consulting. Producers choosing the PIMS Silver program will be trained in the use of hardware and software for marking field variables. This training consists of defining protocols to collect data on production variables such as hybrids, herbicide usage, fertilizer programs and other inputs. That data is then programmed into the hardware and software programs. This process allows producers to have a customized program, personally developed for their specific production system. The information collected is downloaded to desktop software and forwarded to the TCC processing center. The data is verified and processed, placed on the Internet for secured access by decision makers on your management team. Once the production variables are marked, harvest can be done minus the concern of finding field flags indicating hybrid splits, changes in nitrogen rates, or other comparisons within fields. The marking has been digitally recorded in the field while planting or spraying. With all the data from production variables already downloaded to our processing center, (soil types, soil nutrient data, hybrids, herbicides, equipment used, etc.) processing can start with receipt of yield data. Your information will be documented, uploaded to a secure site on the Internet and ready for your review and printing. The quality of analysis is limited only by the accuracy of the collected field data. TCC will produce maps and reports based on your need at no additional charge. Each producer has unlimited flexibility.

PIMS PLUS:
Simply add PLUS to any PIMS Gold or Silver contract to include soil sampling by soil type or management zone on a two-, three-, or four-year rotation. This program allows for a percentage of the acres to be sampled each year for the life of the cycle. Soil sampling provides an understanding of soil chemistry and is critical for accurate planning of management decisions.

ChemSearch-Web offers product label information for over 1,600 crop protection and specialty products including 24Cs, Section 18s and Supplemental labels. Contractual relationships with over 100 manufacturers ensure a database with a variety of products that are updated daily. ChemSearch allows users to enter a label search given any combination of the following parameters: Crop Pest (up to four) State Product type Product name Manufacturer Additional information is easily accessed when using ChemSearch: Label summary specific to your search Full text label MSDS Worker Protection Standards (WPS) DOT Listing of crops and pests covered for each product-by state SARA Title III Information The label summaries consolidate the full text label from typically 10-20 pages to 1-2, leaving only the information applicable to your specific search. Each label summary contains important information such as rate, PHI, REI, environmental restrictions and warnings, crop and grazing rotations and more. The standardized format allows important information to be found quickly every time. A product summary which list crops and pests controlled by the product can also be easily located and printed. Labels and MSDSs are supplied to CDMS daily by the crop protection manufacturers themselves, ensuring that you are using a manufacturer approved label database. CDMSs database averages a 10% change each month. Because the label changes are applied to the database as they are received you can be sure that your search results reflect the most up to date and manufacturer approved information available. There are over 4,200 MSDSs for agricultural as well as specialty products in the CDMS database. While there are not specific hardware requirements to run ChemSearch, it performs best with a reliable Internet Service Provider and Internet Explorer 5 or greater.
